The company is engaged in developing and producing electrical equipment, focusing mainly on public transport. Its focus is on the supply of electrical equipment for trams, trolleybuses, metro and suburban railways. At the same time, the company also supplies fixed traction equipment as substations, battery substations, and such.

 

CEGELEC has significant experience in modernising rolling stock, which cooperates with other entities. In the e-mobility field, it can design a turnkey transport system solution from the power supply, through the construction of the necessary infrastructure, to the delivery of vehicles and the operation of the system.

During the years of the plant’s existence, traction and static converters have been supplied to more than 70 customers in more than 20 countries. The equipment supplied by CEGELEC is used on approximately 5,000 public transport vehicles.
