Seventy meters above the ground. See the OMEXOM GA Energo order in the Netherlands

OMEXOM GA Energo installers, who have been working on a job in the Dutch province of Groningen since November, are working at heights of up to 70 metres.

They are dismantling the 220 kV line between the Robbenplaat-Vierverlaten substations. The line has four systems, two stranded conductors, one earth wire and one OPGW cable. All this on 130 truss poles. We are carrying out the project together with our business partner BAM Infra Nederland for the customer TenneT.

OMEXOM GA Energo is responsible for the dismantling of the conductors and insulator chains and fittings, securing the crossing infrastructure and is also involved in the dismantling of the masts themselves.

All work is carried out even in the winter months, and of course in compliance with all safety regulations. The erectors also move along the line at a height of about 40-70 metres. The project should be completed in spring 2024.
