Join the ENVIRONMENT DAY 2026 VINCI Energies quiz! Look for QR codes at your workplace, answer questions in the environmental quiz and compete for great prizes for yourself and your team. For every answer you submit, VINCI Energies will also donate 10 cents towards planting new tree avenues.

When and how can you take part?

We have placed 20 QR codes at each participating workplace. Scan one and a page will open with an interesting environmental fact and a quiz question for you to answer. Your goal is to find as many QR codes as possible and answer as many questions as you can – ideally correctly.

The competition runs from 14 September at 8:00 to 18 September at 18:00.

How to take part?

1. Find a QR code

We have placed QR codes around the participating locations. Some are easy to spot, while others are partly hidden. All QR codes are placed in publicly accessible areas – none are in locked spaces or employees’ private areas such as lockers or desk drawers.

2. Scan it with your phone

Only scan QR codes featuring the Environment Day logo – exactly like the one shown on this page. You do not need to be signed in to a VINCI Energies account to open the QR code.

3. Read and answer

Read the fun fact and answer the quiz question on the page. All questions are multiple choice and only one answer is correct.

4. Enter your details

First select your employer (business unit). Then open the list of names and find yours – names are listed alphabetically by the first letter of the surname.

5. Submit your answer

You can answer each question only once. Do not submit answers on behalf of colleagues, as those entries will not be valid. Once submitted, an answer cannot be changed.

Competition categories

  • Most answers submitted
    Find as many QR codes as possible and answer as many questions as you can! The winner is the participant who answers the highest number of questions. If there is a tie, speed decides: the participant who answered their final question first wins.
  • Most correct answers
    Do you know the answers to every question in our quiz? Great – you earn the title of our ultimate know-it-all. The winner is the participant with the highest number of correct quiz answers. If there is a tie, speed decides: the participant who answered their final question first wins.

  • Team competition
    Is your team the kind that pulls together? Let's find out! The team competition is won by the company that scans the highest number of QR codes during the competition week. The total number of scans will be divided by the number of employees. The winning team is therefore the one with the highest number of scanned QR codes per employee.
  • Overall impact
    Even if you do not win, taking part will still help the environment. For every QR code scanned and question answered, VINCI Energies will donate 10 cents towards planting new tree avenues.

How will the competition be evaluated?

We will publish the results on 22 September at 14:00 as part of Environment Day.
